Wow, it's March already! We are just flying through the year learning all this good history stuff! So the past couple days we've been doing lots of worksheets and such things on the fight to end segregation and bring equality to everyone. There are a fair amount of ideas of what the African-Americans should be doing, like demanding equality now, just waiting for it to figure itself out, or leave. Today we did worksheets about a court case, well 5 cases smushed into one, about segregation of schools. It was pretty interesting how the points of the case were pretty well balanced with neither side really having a large advantage of points. So, that was history!
