Today was pretty different than that of our normal history classes. That's because we looked at art for the whole entire class period. We just didn't look at it willy-nilly either. Mr. Boyle made this awesome voice thread that narrated all the pictures that he showed us. I have to say that Mr. Johm Copley was probably the artist who produced the nicest artwork, but to each his own. It was pretty interesting to learn about how the painting weren't historically accurate, because when you see a paining of a major event in history you would think it would be right. But they aren't all the time. Also it was cool how there were losts of hidden meanings in the pictures themselves. In the portrait of Paul Revere there was an underlying hint of rebellion since he was wearing a linen shirt, since the linen was inported and not really allowed. I found it to be a pretty interesting class once you started to actually think about the paintings, and not just see them for what they are.
